As a community trust, we often wonder about the true impact that our projects and actions have on the community that we were set up to serve. You can help by taking part in our survey.

Although our projects have the same end objective – to help tackle social, economic and environmental issues – how can we actually measure the success of what we are doing when not all of our projects have financial gain?

Our Shop Art Project, which saw the Trust work in partnership with professional artists to transform the boarded up exterior of a shop in Duff Street, Macduff, is a classic example of this dilemma. It had no financial gain for the town or the Trust, so how can we quantify what this project was actually worth to the local community?

To try and help us measure the unmeasurable, we are embarking on our first ever Social Audit....and we need your help! A Social Audit will help us to account our social performance, report on it, and identify areas where we are doing well and where we need to improve.

We need to gather lots of data and opinions about what people feel about our work and projects, and we would like you to help by taking part in the BMCT Social Accounting Audit Survey

We would be extremely grateful if you could take the time to help us out with this – your views are important and will go a long way to helping us improve how we go about our work, and identify gaps in our service. More and more grant funders are looking to organisations to provide sets of Social Accounts, so your invaluable input will also help us when we try to access funds.

Everyone who completes the online survey will be eligible to enter a free prize draw to win a meal for two at The Green Tree.
